Premo’s performance rewarded by Efore Plc

PREMO has recently been  awarded as an Excellent Performing  Supplier  by  one of its key customers, Efore Plc, as one of their top 5 2008 suppliers due to the outstanding performances on delivery, quality, cost and service.

 

Efore, a company with more than 30 years of experience, is a global partner with leading companies in the telecom, industrial automation and healthcare sectors providing highly advanced custom designed power supply solutions, power systems and related service and maintenance. PREMO has a long-term (ca 20 years) relationship with Efore, supplying top power supplies magnetics for its telecommunication systems and providing an excellent customer support.

 

Premo Wuxi had an annual growth rate of 15% last year. 2009 sales forecast are to sell 2 millions euros and a half in Taiwan in addition to its current sales. This progressive growth is due to its innovative and dynamic aproach, recently adapted to the local management model. This innovative management model has had a big impact on the plant, improving its performance. It has even been recently awarded, with Bosch and Alps among others, for being one of the 10 companies with better management of Wuxi.


The new business strategy change has been managed by Alan Xue, new plant manager in China. His experience in electronic multinationals and his training on markets in  International  business  Schools  are enriched by his deep knowledge of China Business area.

These characteristics make him the most suitable to lead Premo to a better position against competence with other local and multinational companies in value for the customers and management. Xue is the leader  of the China Premo’s high qualified personnel composed by 15 I+D engineers, 4 marketing experts and a sales representative network who works in China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Korea. These innovations can be possible thanks to the high increase of the turnover and EBITDA. That is 15% higher than in 2008 in Q1 despite the global economic downturn

Premo Group, with experience of more than 45 years, is the main Spanish inductive components manufacturer, one of three main Spanish electronic components exporters and it is a world leader in low frequency RFID antennas. The company is present in the main markets of NAFTA, Europe and Asian and Pacific, being China, Japan and Korea the first, exporting the 70 pc of their turnover. The company employs more than 500 workers worldwide; among them there are more than 50 R&D engineers
